NWSL Cements Global Dominance with Record 138 International Call-Ups During June Break

While the men's 2026 FIFA World Cup dominates the summer sports calendar, the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is quietly flexing its own global muscle. The league has paused domestic play for a month-long break to accommodate stadium sharing, but its players are far from idle.[1][4]
